TalkingRain
When Doug MacLean, President and CEO of Talking Rain Beverage Co., a producer of bottled flavored and non flavored water located in Western Washington decided to design and build a new, state-of-the-art, 200,000 square foot warehouse/production facility, they partnered with Engineered Products for their Pallet Rack and Overhead Door needs.
Engineered Products worked in a consultative capacity with Talking Rain’s management to develop a design that addressed all of the operational needs of the company. The end result was a top-of-the-line warehouse system that included a narrow aisle high bay six-level pallet rack/system.
Engineered Products provided a turn key solution, acting as the general contactor on Talking Rain’s behalf providing design drawings, engineering calculations, materials, installation and permits.
When asked about Engineered Products Doug MacLean had this to say. “Engineered Products supplied the pallet rack in our current facility. On February 28th 2001 at mid-day, Western Washington experienced a magnitude 6.8 earthquake. My immediate concern was for our employees working in around the high bay storage rack system. My fears proved unfounded, the storage rack system designed and installed by Engineered Products did exactly what it was designed to do. We did not lose product and most importantly there was no damage or injury. I could not have been more impressed. Choosing to work with Engineered Products on our next facility was an easy decision.”
