National Airline
When one of the largest regional airlines in the United States decided to purchase a new fleet of aircraft, they were presented with a challenging OSHA mandated maintenance problem. The carrier required a work platform to safely and productively service the tail section of the new aircraft.
Historically the company had used scaffolding, which was proven to be both unsafe and unproductive in that it required significant set up after the aircraft was positioned. The solution was to partner with Engineered Products which designed a three-level (floor-plus-two) work platform (free standing mezzanine) with adjustable work surfaces designed to quickly enable positioning of the aircraft.
Engineered Products worked with its supplier to design and install a uniquely flexible structural mezzanine. Engineered Products provided a turn key solution including design, engineering, and installation. In addition Engineered Products supplied all necessary, lighting, fire egress and fire suppression systems.
